Injection systems been completely removed I'd have to order a whole new one. Put some premixed in the tank, spark plugs good, the little gas valve switch thing set to on, kill switch on run, still won't start up. According to some of the things I've read I need three things to get it to start, gas spark and compression. Haven't done anything with compression so maybe that's the culprit?

According to some of the things I've read I need three things to get it to start, gas spark and compression. Haven't done anything with compression so maybe that's the culprit? Just thinking/looking at the spark plug isn't the way to know if it's good? When I say check for spark I mean pull the plug and do it like in these videos. Sparkplug can be good and the coil and or CDI be bad? Only way to know is to visually see the spark plug sparking with the engine being turned over. thescooterprofessor.proboards.com/thread/4167/electrical-check-spark-tester-methodThis is correct and if I was guessing on the premix I would say 50:1? As far as compression on a 2 stroke one can have bad rings or a bad reed valve. thescooterprofessor.proboards.com/thread/1353/carb-reed-valve-works-replaceOne simple way to test for engine compression is to pull the plug and put your thumb over the spark plug hole and turn the engine over. If it tries to blow your thumb off that's a good sign. JR

Yeah we have some premixed 50:1 we use for our snowblower I put in there, the spark plug is good I tested it good blue spark, dad doesn't think it's the compression he thinks it's the carb.

Good videos in the video section on cleaning it. Pull the plug and squirt a touch of gas in it and then put the plug back in and see if it'll even fire. a good blue spark also means we wired the key switch in right.

Actually used pyroil starting fluid and it sounds exactly the same, going to attempt to clean the carb tomorrow, dad says he's most concerned about re aligning the jets or something like that once we've got it cleaned says he had a gas leaf blower he tried to clean the carburetor and never got it working again.

Again when you pull the carb inspect the reed valve. If it is the least letting compression go by it'll never run.

Took apart the carb and cleaned it, not terribly dirty but the main jet was clogged. When I put it back together and re installed it, gas started leaking out of this little brass valve on the underside of the carb not sure how to stop it.

One can pull it off and soak it in penetrating oil and then lube it if it starts moving again, Your best bet is to get a new one, but you can unhook the cable and leave the carb in the idle mode, it will not keep it from firing. Yes you need to find out why the needle is not sealing off and keeping the gas from overflowing the carb.
I still did not hear mention of you checking the reed valve?
