This past week or so I have taken a lot of space from another persons post. I do apologize for that action. It was not intended, but it happened.
Also to JR as all this posting about my left hand switch problem and the outrageous prices. I did not know about the sources JR has provided. So I just kept looking for a good source for parts. Today I found one and the price I paid is the same as the one JR posted.
$21 dollars for the left hand switch is much better than the $80 for the same part from some vendors.
I used MotoPartsMax.com and the price was $14.95 plus $6.95 for a total of $21.90 to my home.
It was marked 'IN STOCK' when I ordered so now I wait to see if that was fact or not.
Unfortunately I have orders in two other places and am not able to reach them by phone or by email. So maybe I will be stuck with trying to return some stock to them in the near futture.
I will have to look closer to JR's posts. His would have saved me lots of time and money for sure.
So again to all, I apologize for taking up so much time and space on a different persons post.

Thanks ellpee, those are the numbers that nobody answers too when I do call. I will try again tomorrow.
The one place would never talk with me. I placed an order but nothing ever happened, I called more than once and I left notes on their order page. Never any response so I finally put in a cancel order note. Still have not heard one way or the other.
The other source I put an order in and hoped for life, but got none so another day I was poking around and trying to see all pages and what was on them about orders. Lo and behold, they gave me another order on their activity file.
I hope there is some way to get them to respond to my calls. Just have not found them yet.

This morning I see that my MotoPartsMax.com order has been advanced to 'Being processed'. Looks like for once in over a month I have found a company working and communicating with the purchaser.
Much better than the other experiences where nothing is communicated to the buyers at all. And the price is very good too.

Hey bobf,it those other companies won't talk to you, then you shouldn't be obligated to them for anything--I would cancel the orders and let them sort it out--imo -fflintstone

Today I got another email from MotoPartsMax.com and it now says parts shipped.
Finally some good news after wasting so much time with the wrong folks to work with.
Maybe by Friday I will post RECEIVED.

Well, today UPS came to my house with 2 identical boxes. One from my dealer, MotoPartsMax.com that only charged me $21.90 and one from Roketa, the folks that never answered my questions, Roketa, for $55.
So now I have to find someone in Roket to answer my calls and tell me how to return for refund of my money. Mostly I get put on hold and a lot of not so pleasant music come over the phone till I tire. I have held for over 5 minutes and never had a contact yet of many calls I have made. Five minutes was just an estimate as I lay the phone on the desk with volume up until I get tired of it.
So don't ever try to work with Roketa. Never any voice contacts and no way to cancel an open order even after weeks of waiting.
Now I will just have to wait for time to work on my scoot. My wife had a heart attack nearly two weeks back and she is now in a nursing home getting retrained on strength and balance so she can walk and get in and out of bed. I was with her today and she really has developed a good spirit and want to achieve so she can come home again. So much better than a week ago in the emergency ward with doctors and nurse all over the place.
CORRECTION: On further examination, they are both from Roketa but only one shows up on my credit card so far. One is not a correct replacement and one is correct replacement.
So now I wait to see if the lower priced on shows up on Saturday as I was told by UPS. Interesting that UPS never told me anything about the two that just showed up yesterday evening.

Well, if nothing else returning the WRONG one ought to be incontestable, assuming you can even get ahold of them. Will be interested to hear if the one still on the way will be right or wrong. Good luck, and best wishes to you and your wife. Thinking about that life/lemons thing, you must have gallons of lemonade by now.

ellpee, today the low cost one arrived in the mail. It is correctly wired too. And this day I was able to get a phone call answered. He denied that it is hard to contact them and I did not argue that point as it depends on what their hours are I suppose.
Anyway he did not understand what I meant about a return approval at all. He said I should write down why I was returning the part and then they will decide if they want it returned and often charge 20% from the return price. There was no paperwork with the package so I have no idea what was part and or shipping. This to me is the end of Roketa for me.
So I will put together a package with sketches and such and hope they will take that as justification for return. I will have to make sure to put no replacement wanted, just credit my card.
Ordered in 15 April and just arrived while the other was ordered 19 April and also here. Important was that the newer folks have kept me informed daily of my order and status while Roketa never gave me any clue to order taken, shipped, what ever. I can't post my gutter level words about how I feel about this mess.

I took my package to UPS this morning and was told I should have refused to accept it and UPS would send it back and charge them for the return freight charges. So in the future do not accept a package if you think it is wrong. Real good advice for me as they sent me 2 different cables while I was trying to get them to answer the phones of allow me to contact someone. Never once did they contact me to want to know if I really wanted two cables or maybe just one.
I have decided that the bunch at Rocketa and their assorted others are just pure crooks the way they are charging and how they operate.
I asked the UPS person how could I get them to return my money if I refuse to take the package and she said at some point I will have their return efforts recorded and I should then be able to start some sort of ruckus if the bank is not repaid for the shipment. This will take some watching and then trying to get my money back may be a real problem.
Never once while I was working with the Roketa thing did they respond to my questions or whatever, so I had decided they must not be watching the order form. Surprise, they are not there to help us order properly or correct or reject an order, the are there just to watch money roll in and that is all.
