Hello All i have a
Roketa MC-62-250 Xingyue 260cc motor scooter : XY260T-4
intermittent no spark on my Xingyue 260cc motor scooter : XY260T-4
runs good when the weather is cool below 78 degs but when i run it on days when 79degs and over i loss my spark to the plug any one Thanks

It could be a bad coil, I had the same problem riding along and it dies, stop restart and get a few more miles and it quits again,, I replace coil problem solved.

replaced the coil with a high performance coil and it still goes it no spark on hot days in the sun

Are you actually checking for SPARK or just because it dies and or will not start you assume no spark? And if you are checking for spark where are you holding the spark plug when checking for spark.

Yes each time it happens -pull the plug out- lay it on top the engine and hit the starter-each time no spark - when the weather cools down toward evening -check it for spark and it does have spark

Well that appears to be a heat issue for some reason. Maybe move the CDI someplace else and check for bare wires grounding out and sticking when hot.

Do you know where the CDI is located on this bike

I have a 2011 Roketa with the OTHER engine, the Honda clone, but on that one the CDI is mounted on the right side, roughly where the passenger foot pedal is, but of course under the plastic -- heaven forbid anything should be easily accessible. The CDI and the R/R and the blocking diode are all mounted more or less in the same area, or were until I moved a couple of them. Don't know if all that will translate to your MC-62 edition.
