The new system of doing things is essentially like the old one with just a few twists and since this is a photo gallery I'll show you how to put a image/photo on the forum. This is a screen shot of the Quick Reply window box with all of it's posting options: Now I put a black arrow pointing up to the image/photo insert button/icon. When you want to post a photo just click on the image icon/button and a new pop up window will appear just like in the screen shot I have here. You will see the first line that has the letters http:// with nothing else. In that slot go to the right and click on the X to remove these letters and then copy and paste your photo "url" address in that window. Then hit "insert image" and it will put the right code in and when you're through typing your post hit Create Post and when the post comes up the photo will appear in your post. If the photo is large the automatic sizing code I have on this forum will downsize it and leave a small message on the photo saying so. But you can click on the photo and it will go back to it's original size for better viewing. JR

Thought I followed your instructions to the letter, but all it did was insert a line of HTML that SHOULD have produced an image but didn't. What am I missing? (The link came from PhotoBucket, by right-clicking on the picture and choosing "copy link address.")

Ok I see what you mean. So all is OK the Quick reply doesn't have the preview tab? Can you put it in the plugin?

Ok I see what you mean. So all is OK the Quick reply doesn't have the preview tab? Can you put it in the plugin? That preview tab is the most complex part of V5 so I seriously doubt that but if you want preview all you need to do is click reply or quote to get to the full reply page

Got it. pardon my ignorance of the coding on this. I just thought this function was automatic in the Quick Reply just like in the other areas.
Also it's no big deal to use it as it is, really don't need a preview if you got the image correct any way.
Thanks Eton!

OK folks I forgot we had a gallery thread in another section and I found it and moved the posts here and got all of the photos in the scroller. Now come on let's fill it up! Don't make me have to hunt for pics!
