I don't know how many miles you can get before you start having little problems,I have had mine ,new,since 2008,July --the pic here--I have replaced my original Kenda tires with some Avon Viper Strykes which made it a lot more comfortable and safe ride---have about 4500 miles on it ,changed the oil a couple times...It seems hard to start in cold weather but I don't ride much below 70 degrees anyway..speedometer works fine,odometer never worked,and radio stopped working the first year,I have replaced 1 brake light bulb,which I replaced with LED bulbs--I wrecked it a couple years ago and busted the top box so I replaced it with a new box from eBay--as for operational problems,I haven't adjusted the valves or think I need to yet,and it still runs just fine...I guess the operator will have a lot to do with how much trouble the scoot will cause---I really like the ride---good riding,fflintstone
