One of our newest members asked if their email could be sent a notice when a new post was put on a thread of anyone's and here's the way to do it:

You can receive email notifications if you bookmark a thread. Simply click the Bookmark button on the top left of the thread when viewing it.

To set your profile to send emails when a bookmarked thread is replied to, visit your profile page and click on the Bookmarks link, then select Manage Bookmarks. Click on the dropdown next to a thread name and select Email, then save your bookmark preferences.

So if you're one who watches their email a lot or like me has a alarm tone go off on their computer when a new email comes you can see if someone has replied to a thread just by looking at your email.
