Okay so while repairing my broken gear oil bolt today I found that my back tire is a little wobbly... Between the calipers and all that? Is that a big deal is not Much at all and I can't feel it while riding but what should I do? Also on my variator I found this...... How big of a deal is this find? Also I want to thank everyone who helped me with my annoying and stupid questions/posts but every bit helped me I was completely in the dark before I started this forum. Attachments:

Hey newscooter, congrats on that repair ,and as JRR would say there are no stupid questions...as for that damaged part,it may run ok for awhile, but it should be replaced ..that back wheel, check the bearing ...just loosen the axel nut see if there is wear in the bearing...good luck, happy New Year, fflintstone

Hey newscooterer, that wobbly between the calipers may be a loose axle bolt. Check that axle bolt, they are known to work loose.

I tightened it pretty good but ill have to see. I've been hearing a high pitched noise at about 10-20 MPH but only for a quick 2-4 seconds I think it's my tire wobbling and hitting my caliper or something but it goes away right after.. Maybe it's something in my Variator? Not sure. It doesn't sound like a huge concern as to it goes away fast but it's never done that before.
Also when leaving a stop light, or stop sign the first couple feet are real rough. My scooter almost sounds like a person learning how to drive a clutch but that also goes right away after about 2 feet and only in the very begging. Is this a sign I need to do my valves? Or is it my clutch or maybe air/fuel ratio?

And my scooter has always done that. Even before my fix. The high pitched noise though is recent.

Or is this roughness cause by my rollers?

I had a front bearing go on me, the first thing I notice was the scraping sound and a thumping sound like my tire was going flat, I think to may have some clutch or roller weights issue, did the variator go on without any problems? If you put scoot on center-stand, start scoot up and let run, how does it sound? Is there any scraping sound?

Yeah I heard a little bit of a scrapping sound. But also I found out while looking at it my back fender bolt was rubbing against my tire for quit some time... There is a nice groove where it has been hitting. My back tire has been go flat every couple days so ill need a tire within the next day or so... I heard changing these tires are a pain in the ass.. An I better off just removing the tire and taking it to a local scooter shop to remove & re install a new tire? Or is it not that bad

I had some problems with the variation but it was only because when pulling the clutch together I didn't stick the variation belt far enough down so I didn't have enough slack to fit the variation on the bolt completely but once I figured out that problem the variation fan slipped right on no problem.

If you don't have the rights tools, it would be better to take the tire to a scooter shop

Or is it not that bad Changing a tire is a pita but I have been doing it since I found my local shop charges $60.00 to change one..the biggest problem is the tires are stiff and un-yielding and you will scratch up the rims with tire tools--if you gonna do it,Harbor Freight has a tire changer with a scooter wheel adapter...if you gonna change a lot of tires it will be a good investment--if you gonna do maybe one a year ,have the shop do it--imo--I got one to put on now and just waiting as long as I can to get on it-heh-procrastinate --yeh,thats it--I probably can ride on the old one till spring ...good luck, fflintstone,Happy New Year
