Would you "PLEASE" take a picture of your CDI with all the wires plugged in ON THE SCOOT. I still believe you have the wrong CDI. Alleyoop

That is ok, If the wires coming from the STATOR have those plugs then it is an AC FOR AN AC fired CDI. BUT KNOW the question is-- IS THE CDI AN AC CDI OR DC CDI??? So now that we know the wires going to the CDI, try this Take the BLACK/WHITE wire OFF the CDI which is on the TOP OF THE 2 PLUG. That is your KILLSWITCH. Just to make sure the CDI is NOT being GROUNDED, you can always put it back on the PLUG and see if it fires. Alleyoop

Like this? black/red = AC feed from stator to CDI green = ground blue/yellow = signal pulse or pick up coil black/yellow = feed to coil black/white = kill switch wire green/white = side stand kill wire Look at this drawing again, from what you told us previously we all determined you had a DC type CDI? Look at this drawing again because this scooter comes in both AC and DC: If you have a red/black like on this drawing going to the CDI then you have a AC CDI! JR
