The line coming off the top of the gas tank. It appears to be an over flow line, has a clamp on it But came off of some where. Scoot stalled I was able too get home with it.I'm thinking this lose line has something too do with it stalling. Any Idea's? I will trace it in a bit, figured I'd ask first. Thanks Bill

It is most likly the VENT HOSE, and it probably came off the CHARCOAL CANISTER. And since the Canister has a VACUUM hose to open the Diaphgram inside it is looseing enough Vacuum to operate the Vacuum PETCOCK or VACUUM FUEL PUMP to get fuel to the CARB. Alleyoop

It looks like it came off the side nipple at the top of the canister but it does not reach it will reach th bottom of the canister. Also there is what appears to be an inline valve on the overflow line am I right?

Bill I forgot what they call this valve but If I remember it acts like a check vavle. We had a thread about it some time ago and if someone doesn't jump in here and say what exactly it does, then I'll try my best to find out.

Great!! Now you know what hoses goes where. Now if you want you can take all that stuff off as well as the canistor and take the Vent hose from the gas tank and zip tie it high on the frame and put a fuel filter on the end so no dust gets in there but it will still VENT. The rest plug up the Vacuum hose at ITS ORGIN and if one of the hoses goes to the AIR BOX pull it off of the AIR BOX and plug up the Connector and then you can take all that off. Alleyoop

Just an update. I pulled the check valve off the overflow line and put a fuel filter in its place. Took a fifty mile ride and all seems fine. Thanks for the help. Ride safe Bill
