well, most of the problems were because i didn't charge the battery fully.. and i'm down to a single problem which is no headlights is that the 20a fuse located under the right rear cover do i have to remove that cover to get to it which would probably entail removing the metal rack on the tail as well wish there were an easier way to reach a seemingly important fuse regarding my current scooter satisfaction level: about a 6.5 out of ten and getting better (i like it - it is fun - and it is working) not getting the gas milage i was hoping for and i think it needs a tuneup/adjustment it backfires a little upon deceleration from 50+ mph (thinking timing of some sort) as usual - thanks for all your help:

one more note: no tail lights either along with no headlights

just to recap: the only problems are no headlights and no tail lights - everything else is working

if no head nor tail lites, the first suspect is the 15A fuse by the battery. does the horn work?

replaced the 15 with a quality fuse (that solved a few previous problems) and the horn works but still no headlamps or tail lights
