That looks like a yoshi knock off.........[Item location: Bangkok, Thailand] .......assembled with pop rivets. I had a yoshi pipe on my bandit and no pop rivets and it cost around $600.
I have a $9 briggs muffler on my 150 and its been there since the scooter was new......... no problems with it ever and when it does go all I do is unscrew it and screw on a new one. john

Same as a lawn mower, kind of loud, not ear splitting but has a good pop to it. light enough in weight so that it is not apt to crack and brake off like the heavy stock ones do. It has been on there since the scooter was new, took it for a test ride of about 2 miles and got the hack saw out. there are about 2k on the scooter after 3 years. Been riding ever day this summer but only the 3.5 miles to the senior center for lunch. I just think it is kind of nutz to put a muffler on that is worth almost as much as a used scooter is. This one I took a 3/4" pipe coupling and welded it to the exhaust pipe so the briggs muffler screws in and welded a short bracket to support the pipe at the coupling. Thinking back that yoshi I had on the bandit may have had rivets but all I ever did with that bike was ride it and replace tires and chains, lots of them! Bought it used at year old and it had been modded and tuned and was ready to fly. 140 in 3rd gear at red line. john
