No the battery and solenoid only effects the ELECTRIC Start and some lights. Actually once it starts you can take the battery out and the motor will still run.
When and if it starts does it idle high or low? Do you remember when you turned the FUEL RATIO screw CLOCKWISE Until it stopped DO YOU REMEMBER how many turns it took to close? You do have the AIR FILTER ATTACHED RIGHT?
Can you keep it going if you twist the throttle? Alleyoop

Also I noticed that there was a slight smoke coming from the battery as I was hitting the electric start button!! That can't be good rite?

When I did get it to start it was idling low I had to give a lil throttle to keep from dying. And when I turned the fuel ratio screw it was about id say 3 turns to to tighten it. Yes the air filter is attached right ive nvr messed with it.

Ok, Turn the IDLE SPEED SCREW CLOCKWISE about 1/8 of a turn. Alleyoop And no the battery should not be smoking MAKE SURE the terminals are clean and the wires connected on good.

Do you have a Trickle Charger? If you do put it on over night and see if it holds the charge or if it will charge. You can take the battery to the auto parts store and have it checked out. Alleyoop

Situation update!!! Good news So I now have the scooter to start up everytime I hit the ignition!! Bad news is no matter what I do to the fuel air mixture or the idle screw the scoot sounds like it wants to die when it isles and eventually does!! Not sure what to do!

Check that. More good news!! I now have the bike idling where it does not die!!! The only issue is the idle does not sound stable!! It idles at about 3500 when up start up the bike. idle goes up then it will stablize then seconds later it will go down then stablize then repeat. I left the bike on for about 5 min to see if it will stablize and it didn't. What could be causing this??? No matter what I do to the air fuel mixture it does not seem to get a stable idle!!

Ok when the IDLE bounces like that IT MEANS it is LEAN. Now Lean could be you have an AIR LEAK by the Carb someplace. Where the Clamps attache to the Carb on both sides or your intake manifold has a leak or crack. Or if you have Tube going to your Air Box it is ripped someplace or there is a connector on the air box that is sucking in extra air.
Get a Spray Bottle of water and spray INDIVDUAL areas and when you Spray IF THE IDLE CHANGES you FOUND A LEAK.
When you first start up the bike it should idle around 2000 rpms so LOWER the IDLE using the IDLE SPEED SCREW to drop it down some.
Last but not Least your Carb PILOT JET is not clear and or the PASSAGE.. Now that you can check. Let it IDLE for about 5 minutes THEN TURN the FUEL RATIO screw 1/4 turns at a time COUNTER CLOCKWISE and wait for about 10 seconds AFTER EACH 1/4 TURN to allow the motor to catch up with the new fuel change. If nothing happens THEN TURN IT the other way following the same procedure.
IF TURNING it either way UP TO 1 FULL TURN either way DOES NOT CHANGE the IDLE then your PILOT JET and OR PASSAGE are clogged and you have to take the carb off and make sure you see daylight through the PILOT JET and then SPRAY INTO THE PILOT jet hole and SPRAY should come out in front of the Carb. IF you look there are tiny holes in front of the CARB those have to be clear. Alleyoop

Update! I got a bottled sprayed and no luck, then I messed with the fuel air mix and It did nothing!! So today I am goin to take off the carb to check the pilot jet. I hope this is my problem!! But I cleaned my carb 2wks perhaps I missed a spot??? But if cleaning the carb fails could it be that my carb is bad? ??

The carbs are actually pretty simple and only a few things can go wrong. One which is they can get clogged if you do not have a good FUEL FILTER on it that lets tiny particles to get into the Carb bowl and get sucked up and create the blockage in the Jet or passage. Just so you understand where the fuel flows in the carb here is a diagram of the fuel flow and where it comes out. Notice where the fuel is coming out by the BUTTERFLY that is from the PILOT JET passage. THose are tiny holes that can clog up. You need to SPRAY CARB CLEANER into the PILOT JET HOLE and make sure the spray comes out of those tiny holes.
