Hey this is my first post and I'm hoping someone will be able to help me get this thing going, I have no scooter experience this is my first one but I do work on motorcycles and cars so I have some mechanical capabilities lol
Bought this scooter 2 weeks ago and for the first 4 days it ran mint than all of a sudden it would bog hard and wouldn't even move so I rebuilt the carb cleaned the jets and it still was bogging! When I bought the scooter the guy included a brand new malossi 70cc top end kit so I threw the cylinder, head and piston in and it ran great again for 2 days I thought the problem was fixed, after 2 days it was doing the exact same thing as before so then I ordered a new 19mm carb with a jet kit and got it jetted and running smoother than ever fast forward another 3 days and I'm back to bogging had to push it home.
I am running out of things to change here and tired of having short success followed by leaving me stranded and angry lol
New: 70cc malossi top end Bottom end has 0 play up and down New koso air filter New dellorto 19mm carb 75 main New plug
Current situation: It will idle fine until I touch the throttle it won't die right away but it will rev up and cut out for a second then rev up a bit then cut over and over.
If anyone has any idea as to what could be my problem please let me know!
Thanks

Forgot to mention it's a 2003 derbi Atlantis wave 2 stroke air cooled and I'm using premix the oil injectors removed. Does this thing have points or a crank sensor that needs adjusting?
Thanks

Check the fuel tank cap,,,you may have a venting issue,,,if you can get it to run ,,,,run it till it dies and slowly turn the fuel cap,,,if you hear air rush in the tank you have a venting problem,,,just drill a small hole in the cap,,,(SMALL HOLE),,and you'll be good to go,,,,
