Make no mistake about it, this is a restoration project.
I looked. I found. I bought. For a super good deal.
NEEDS: 1st and foremost, a GOOD thorough cleaning.
Buffing the black plastic body panels and a few touch up paint spots.
Install new front & rear tires ( badly dry rotted )
New chrome wind deflectors, chrome trim kit
New rear top trunk. New windshield. A bit of krylon Fusion flat black on the center section & dash where it faded to gray. May not "Need" but will GET a full service tune up and new front & rear brakes.
The scoot is a 1995 Honda Helix with 18,xxx miles on it. Runs like a top, no smoke, no funky noises of any kind, and the motor pulls strong. Very strong for just a 250cc.
This will be my project over the next 3 weeks AFTER I get my wifes Zodiac trike put together.

Will have roughly $1,500 in it after new tires, windshield, luggage rack, topcase, LED lights, lower fog lights, new instrument panel cover ( the clear part that goes over the digital speedometer ), and a chrome dress up kit.
Other extras in the works: DR sliders, marine grade radio & speakers, chrome & black handgrips, custom reupholstered seat, drink holder, GPS holder, USB charging / power port on dash, better sounding exhaust, K&N air filter, chrome rims IF I can find any that will fit.

Also traded the trailer shown in the above pic ( plus $1,440.70! ) for a brand new 6.5' X 18' end gate trailer this morning. Needed one long enough to haul my wife's Zodiac trike ( still not here yet ) and this Helix together to the rally's / rides when far off from us.
My windshield in the Helix is so d@mned fogged, I have thought about just painting it, since I can't see through it anyway. Would be unique. The charging system seems to put out a lot more than its Chinese counterpart, plenty for the extra lights, radio, and phone dock I added.
Have fun, these things will fly, but at about seventy five, that ten inch back tire starts to get squirrelly.
Windshields are cheap for these. " Product Description

Made in the USA.This item fits the following models: 1986-1987 Honda CN250 Helix1992-2001 Honda CN250 Helix2004-2007 Honda CN250 Helix " Pay no attention to what is in the picture, it is just for general reference to a windshield. Have mine ordered and will install it in about 2 weeks. Will let you know how it goes & will get a pic of it installed.

I am hoping to find a extra tall windshield someday. One large enough that I can wear a half helmet and not have bugs hitting me in the face!!! My V-Star 650 Silverado had a windshield like that, and it was sooooooooooo nice on HOT days to ride with just that half helmet on! I have a LS2 Strobe helmet in Hi-Viz yellow. It is a full face modular helmet I got off of Amazon for $149 shipped to the door. Cant say I can recommend it though. I will be making a follow up vid to my current you tube vid on why sometime soon. my you tube channel is COYOTE102076
