Gas prices By fflintstone (Read 1,366 times)

Gas is at the lowest I have seen it in a long while--1.49 at Walmart and Kroger--here in NW Tennessee--it just could drop some more but I see oil just popped for some increase--does anyone know what that means ? I hope it means we gonna get a nice summer bonus of cheap gas for outdoor activities,like riding ,boating ,grilling out--or just driving up to see JR in Arky mountain--well,I wish I could anyhow--happy trails everyone---fflintstone

Got it for $1.42 with my card at Wally World yesterday. They say it's going to go down to $0.99, if so I'm filling up some 55 gallon drums I swear!

1.65 in w.mass and with the way we tax gas in this state I never thought I'd see it under 2.00, I won't be complaining.

I'm serious fflintstone We used to keep gas in one of the above storage tanks with the old hand pumps on it, remember them? I've got a cool place in my shed to put the barrels up off the ground on blocks and as long as you can keep the barrels sealed tight the gas will hold up for quite awhile. Sides I was going to do it for mowing and tilling the garden plus my boat.

I use a lot of gas mowing 5 acres each year!

Hmmm--let me help you out here JR--some good info I got from my sister down on the farm--if you don't have any goats,get some ducks and guineas--the ducks will keep the grass down,and the guineas will alert you to strangers approaching --and mostly both will be self sufficient--but ain't nothing wrong with hoarding gas for rainy days soon to come ,for sure...I might just be looking for some gas barrels myself

We still be in the mid 2 dollar range here,,,a massive piss off,,,every time gas goes down they raise the taxes,,,so when it goes to " normal" we'll see $6-7 I'm sure,,,bastards

Had a friend in Broken Bow Oklahoma tell me it is $1.12 there. Went to granddaughters softball practice yesterday and got it for $1.38! Still going down!

So what? Just like the Supreme Court nominee the Republicans aren't going to let it happen! They've made that clear on both accounts!

I think we might get a break on both issues--gas and Supreme Court nominees--the expected oil market increase seems to have fizzled and our trusted politicians are not going to let Obama cram a liberal down our throats --maybe

Hehe--you all right cyborg,good sense of humor,and you are right ,we laugh to keep from crying--still 1.45 here--seems to have taken a pause ,but maybe it slip on down some ,although i got notice that oil prices have risen some today--who can tell where it will land--so far ,no movement in the last week--
