I have a wildfire with no kick start all lights work fine when I turn the key but when I press the start button it doesn't make a sound. Help?

ewaller123 Have you checked the battery for good voltage with a multi meter? Need 12.5Vdc or better. Generally there is always a ignition fuse sometimes located by the battery so have you checked for this? Also what model and size Wildfire? JR

Its a 50cc not sure why model. I checked the solenoid and it was rusted out. Starter was burnt too. New starter should be here Thursday. Still have to order new solenoid and a new fuse for good measure. O got it to turn over for a brief second before I realized the solenoid was trash.

you may be able to pick up a generic solenoid at an auto parts store or garden center where they have parts for the smaller riding tractor type mowers,, should be very inexpensive
