i know this is a scooter board but was hoping someone would have an idea of what is up with this linhai 260 atv (manco).
purchased a new vog coil but not even sure if that was the correct one. i get a single spark only when flipping the kill on the left handle bar. each time it is flipped between the 2 positions 1 spark will occur.
not sure if the digital ignitor is bad or not. did purchase a cdi that looked close but same thing happening. wires to digital ignitor are as follows
black / red blue / yellow green black / yellow pink (faded so bad looks white)
any testing a guy can do on this to see if it is bad?
thanks in advance!

looks like you should have 12vdc at the red /white wire , with the key in the run position .

Welcome to the forum. We may be a scooter forum but we'll still try to help. First of all do you have the huge Linhai Up to 300cc ATV service manual? I'm in the process of downloading it to my server and it's a huge manual but loaded with lots of helpful information. Second of all do you have a wiring diagram for this ATV? If not here is one: Now I'm not familiar with a digital ignitor but I'm presuming this is another name for CDI?. The pinkish wire you're talking about according to the diagram is actually red/white and heads to the fuse box as just like all linhais I've dealt with it's a DC powered CDI system. No power on this wire = no spark. Need to verify this wire has 12Vdc with the key on. We're here to help so keep us informed. JR

when you say pulse coil i'm assuming your talking what some people call the pick up coil. its inside the cover on the right side of the motor.
