Hello All
I plan on buying a new engine from T-Motorsports (the old engine is just giving up the ghost)
Has anyone had good or bad experiences with them?
Thanks
Doug

I have ordered twice from them. A helmet and a battery. No problems.either time. The quality of the products were good and they shipped the items quickly. Both orders were through their Ebay store.

Need to check around the internet...there were problems with engines not being marked correctly...

Giving up the ghost
After splitting case and replacing crank it is now making grinding noise with loss of power.
Kinda sick of working on the engine, so I just want to start fresh

I received this helmet as a birthday gift: Build of the helmet is about what you'd expect for the price. Ripped out the little nostril-breath-deflector right off the bat, as it had been made from a plastic almost wholly unsuitable for the application and would not conform to the proper shape. Seems to be a bit tighter than other XL's. Hardware (buckles/straps) kinda cheap (I'm sure rounded d-rings wouldn't have hurt the bottom line that much!). Despite these drawbacks, however, I'm still wearing it daily. It seems solid enough in feel on the 'ol cranium, and as stupid as it sounds, I "feel safer" wearing it than my 3/4 face Zox Bino. Graphics are kinda cheezy yeah, but they get people to look, and that is way important. I kinda dig the blue demon on the back, he's almost the same shade of blue as my scoot, so that's cool. The red 'bloody' streaks are eye-catchers, so safety+ on that count. Although the vents don't seem like much, I actually seem to get better ventilation when riding with the visor open than when with the 3/4 and the visor down, so that's a win too. Too tight for any glasses other than thin straight-arms; you'll get nothing over the back of that ear. This was a great excuse for some new shades, though! So...ah...yeah, I have one of their helmets, and it's OK for a 'cheap helmet'. As basic protection for the bean, a decent value for the money. As for the company themselves, I dunno. I have read some not-so-nice things, but they have been in business for longer than some other (and apparently less successful) scooter dealers, so who knows. If a company truly sucks badly and for long enough, the customer base dries up, so I'd take that as a somewhat positive indicator, at least. Legendary Chinese scooter quality aside, even a 'good' manufacturer has market failures, too. Perhaps a better indicator may be that they have a good ebay rep: myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/tmshelmet/?_trksid=p4340.l2559...although it would beg the question why they're only selling *helmets* on ebay, and not everything else... Sorry, guess I'm no help after all! ;D

Hope that helmet is DOT approved! It will say so on the outside at the back...if it doesn't, it offers no certified protection.

Hey guys Evil just hollered at me and came up with a heck of an idea! A product review section for members to talk about the pros and cons of products. I'm thinking of the rules right now so I'm open to suggestions and will get a board posted.
Thanks Evilgenious!

I Third That Idea!!!!! Anyone that buys something New to them could give a description and performance review. Be it a Gasket, Performance part, Helmet, Or a nifty little cargo holder. Bravo Evil!!! Do it JR!!! As for TMS I was gonna buy a Gel Battery from them. The price was right (around 40 bucks with shipping) and 12v 5 amp sounded like a good thing on my 50cc. I bought locally cause I needed it immediately but still may order one from the EBAY Store. Personally I would be very cautious ordering a big ticket item like an engine but, What's to lose? With shipping insurance and a Pay-pal account if things go wrong it can be resolved. I say go for it if ya can afford it. Just be careful. Give them a call and ask a few questions.

Not on engines...PayPal has been reamed 'a new one' over some of TMS engine issues and they simply say that their policies do not cover automotive parts. Lots of very unhappy people a couple of years ago...perhaps it has changed now.. I don't know...
You need to read the PayPal policies before you buy...

I did not know that. I still say give them a call and talk to someone. But, Do shop around before a final purchase. The cheapest price may not be the best deal.
